What drew you to Accelity?
When I came across the job listing, the description immediately grabbed my attention. After exploring the company’s website, I became even more intrigued. It was during the interview process, though, that I knew this was where I wanted to continue my career and grow my skills. The team’s values, personalities, and culture stood out, creating a well-rounded experience that confirmed my decision to join.
Who would you switch places with for one day?
I’d probably switch places with my dad. I’d love to better understand what he experienced and the reasons behind some of the decisions he made over the years. I admire him greatly and wish I could see things from his perspective to understand him better.

I’m great at cooking! I make a delicious lasagna and some amazing hamburgers.
What is your guilty pleasure TV/music/movie?
I’m really into reality shows like Property Brothers and similar programs.
Where is your favorite spot in Mexico City?
Easily Masayoshi Ohira Park. It’s a Japanese park that was donated to the city, and spending time there feels like being in Japan for a day.
What is your favorite Mexico City summer activity?
I’d say visiting museums and parks. Mexico City has so many places to explore, offering a mix of cultural experiences and entertainment.
If a friend/colleague were to bump into you in public, where would you most likely be?
Probably at the Alameda or maybe at the cinema.
Curious about the quirky mind behind the words at Accelity? Allow us to introduce you!

What drew you to Accelity?
I pride myself on honesty as a key part of my craft, and Accelity’s website truly reflects that. It felt more like a conversation than a sales pitch—honest, relatable, and candid, with the kind of jargon we millennials use daily. I didn’t feel the need to be polished or pretend to be someone I’m not; it genuinely felt like they promote the ‘come as you are’ belief, as long as you excel at what you do.
Who would you switch places with for one day?
A man—any man—but preferably a wealthy, handsome one (LOL).
What’s your secret talent?
Sleeping all day and coming alive at night—maybe I’m a vampire! I also love listening to music and have a knack for discovering mid-song that it’s a sample, and then hunting down the original track for confirmation.
What is your guilty pleasure TV/music/movie?
Love After Lockup and Tell Me Lies have me in a chokehold right now. I just finished the season finale of Tell Me Lies, and instead of screaming, I grinned—revenge is truly a dish best served cold. Well played, Stephen! I’m an eclectic soul, so Khruangbin and BadBadNotGood get me through life. As for movies, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, 500 Days of Summer, and all things horror/suspense are among my cinematic favorites.
Where is your favorite spot in Chicago?
My home—haha! But honestly, I’m not sure if I have a single favorite. What I can say is that the Ralph Lauren restaurant never, ever gets old for me.
What is your favorite Chicago summer activity?
My favorite Chicago summer activity is definitely our boat scene on Lake Michigan, especially the Playpen.
If a friend/colleague were to bump into you in public, where would you most likely be?
You’d probably find me at an art exhibit or a swanky restaurant!

What drew you to Accelity?
Throughout the interview process, both Jackie and Jenny made it ultra clear that they care about people here. Clients, employees, each other—they’re all in.
Who would you switch places with for one day?
Anyone who is the opposite of me, just so I can see how the other side functions. If you’re someone who is incredibly passionate, has grand ideas flow from themselves freely, and wouldn’t give a second thought to leaving the dishes in the sink before you go to bed, let’s do this.
What’s your secret talent?
I make a mean Cajun chicken pasta.
What is your guilty pleasure TV/music/movie?
Well… I am a Swiftie, but I will NEVER feel guilty about it!
Where is your favorite spot in Milwaukee?
I thought SafeHouse was the coolest place I had ever been when I first went there. I still tell everyone about it.
What is your favorite Wisconsin summer activity?
I coach a middle school softball team, so we love cramming in all the playing we can get between June and July.
If a friend/colleague were to bump into you in public, where would you most likely be?
Definitely on the sidelines watching my girls play one sport or another.

How has Accelity helped your career development
After spending 4 years in marketing at a large health system, I wanted to challenge myself and grow my knowledge of digital marketing. Accelity places LOTS of emphasis on professional development and growth. (I’ve already learned soooo much in the short time I’ve been here!)
What do you like most about working at Accelity?
The peeps! Everyone on the team is so talented, outgoing and welcoming. They’re not just coworkers; they’re friends.
Who inspires you?
My family. We’ve gone through some tough sh*t, but continue to become stronger, closer and more empathetic people because of it. It’s not what happens to you but how you choose to handle it that makes all the difference.
What’s your secret talent?
Not many people know that I can play the piano and alto saxophone. I’d have to brush up on my skills…but I can still play some songs by ear/muscle memory!
If you weren’t in marketing, what would your second career choice be?
I used to want to be a forensic scientist…then an interior designer…my interests are all over the board! BUT the dream is to own my own clothing boutique. I plan to work towards that while still working in marketing.
What is your hometown known most for?
Here’s my shameless Rockford, IL tourism plug! I’d say we’re most known for:
- Delicious local food (Rockfordians are foodies! If you haven’t had Beef-a-roo, Lino’s pizza or Mrs. Fisher’s potato chips…you’re missing out)
- Attractions like Anderson Japanese Gardens, the Burpee Museum, and the Coronado Performing Arts Center
- And some famous friends who call Rockford home (name dropping starts now): Cheap Trick, Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child, Fred VanVleet, Ira Matthews, Dean Lowery…to name a few
If a friend/colleague were to bump into you in public, where would you most likely be?
Most likely at a local restaurant/bar for dinner and drinks with friends, at a Chicago sporting event (Go Cubs Go)…or out shopping. 🙂
Ever wonder who’s behind the marketing magic at Accelity? Well, we’re eager to get to know ya!
Meet Sarah, Accelity’s Key Account Director (aka the person who makes sure s#%! gets done). Sarah serves as the day-to-day point of contact for Acceity’s complex clients, driving their campaigns and projects to ensure marketing and sales success.
What drew you to Accelity?
Throughout the interview process, I felt like the team wanted to get to know me as a person, not just hear about my job experience and capabilities. Accelity leads with a client-first mindset but puts great effort into prioritizing employee happiness and success. I’m in great company here.
What is something you are proud of in your work?
Reliability is huge to me. I hope my clients and coworkers feel they can depend on me.
If you could meet one celebrity who is no longer with us, who would it be?
Lucille Ball
What is your guilty pleasure TV show/music/movie?
Sitting on my living room floor, eating Chipotle and watching an early 90s/2000s TV show or movie isn’t so much a guilty pleasure, just something I like to do.
If you weren’t in marketing, what would your second career choice be?
I’d probably work with kids in some capacity, maybe as an elementary school teacher or own a dance studio.
Where is your favorite spot in Milwaukee?
Anywhere with a patio is my favorite. Finks makes the best gimlet. City Lights Brewery has a huge patio and awesome staff. Cloud Red in Shorewood has ridiculous Brussel sprouts and nachos. Draft and Vessel is a chill bar that plays good music. We’ve got great coffee shops and smaller music venues, too, like Turner Hall and Colectivo Back Room. Milwaukee is great.
If a friend/colleague were to bump into you in public, where would you most likely be?
Returning things at Target.
At Accelity, we believe the culture we build internally directly impacts the quality of work we create for our clients. That’s why we’ve assembled a team of talented marketers who are not only pros at their jobs but also a whole lotta fun.
We invite you to get to know our talented team members so you can see what we’re all about. Come meet our Digital Media Designer, Nate Panetti!
What 3 words describe Accelity to you?
Rewarding, dedicated and transparent.
Accelity is rewarding because of the tremendous internal support you receive from everyone you work with. The company is also very dedicated to its employees and clients by ensuring everyone’s happiness. Accelity is very transparent when it comes to letting employees and clients know about budgets, not only financially but also from a time-tracking perspective.
What do you like most about working at Accelity?
Accelity has the most organization I’ve ever experienced in a position. It comes into play with project management, scheduling and tracking time for working on specific client projects, and when locating the resources we use as a company.
Accelity truly cares about its employees and the clients we are producing work for. When it comes to creating content, I’ve always had a mindset that it is important for the client to be delighted with what they receive. Having Accelity agree with that initiative while also treating the satisfaction of employees as equally important, has really opened my eyes. I haven’t experienced this type of care and dedication before at a company, so this experience has been extremely rewarding and refreshing.
Who would you switch places with for one day?
More than likely Frank Ocean. Just so I could dig through his computer and find all of the amazing music he has been hiding from the public. Sure, I could’ve said Jeff Bezos in order to use all of his money to stop world hunger—but that’s too reasonable for me.
What’s your secret talent?
I’ve become pretty good at hearing local bird calls and being able to identify what species of bird they are. I can be a little off with this if the bird is more unusual for the area.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
For TV shows, I would probably say 90 Day Fiancé. JUDGE ME ALL YOU WANT, but that show is very entertaining to me. As for music, the various High School Musical soundtracks can sometimes get put into my rotations.
Where is your favorite spot in Milwaukee?
Humboldt Park is by far my favorite place to go. This might be due to how close I live, but birdwatching is always really great and so is the dog watching. Also, there are constant events taking place there like Chill on the Hill, and there is even a beer garden that is in the middle of the park.
What is the most memorable thing about Milwaukee to you?
I love Milwaukee because everyone here is relatable and understanding. Hate the winter but you choose to live here anyway? So does everyone else in Milwaukee! Were you supposed to meet some friends at an event but you were 20 minutes late due to watching the end of the seemingly longest Brewers game yet? Everyone will be sympathetic!

What drew you to Accelity?
The one facet of marketing I have always been drawn to the most is developing strategy, so the potential for a role where my sole focus was immediately attractive to me. What sold me on Accelity, though, was that throughout the interview process, I was impressed by every single person I spoke to – their personality, their expertise, and their openness to answering every question I had while also asking questions to ensure the role would be a good fit for both parties. Long story short, I felt listened to, which closed the deal for me.
What is something you are proud of in your work?
I am most proud of when a strategy I created achieves or surpasses the goals set for it. A good strategy is dependent on gaining an understanding of the client’s needs and challenges, leveraging data and best practices, and also a gut instinct based on logic of what will work for a particular client. Putting all of those elements together isn’t easy, and to see it pay off for them is the absolute best.
Who would you like to switch places with for a day?
Honestly, I’m pretty happy with my life and where I’ve come so far. If I have to switch with someone, though, I’d likely pick a random curator of the Disney archive just to be able to see all of the amazing memorabilia and history of a company I love.
If you could have one special power, what would it be?
Teleportation. I love to travel, and the idea of being able to go anywhere in the blink of an eye would be incredible.
What is your favorite movie quote?
“I guess it all comes down to a simple choice, really. Get busy living or get busy dying.”- The Shawshank Redemption
If a friend/colleague were to bump into you in public, where would you most likely be?
Either out to eat or singing karaoke.
What is something you’d want a newcomer to Milwaukee to know?
Living here my whole life, I’ve gotten to experience so much of what Milwaukee has to offer – great museums, beautiful art and artists, music festivals, amazing food, the friendliest people, and so much more – and nearly everything is a 20-minute drive or less away. Milwaukee has all the benefits of a larger city without the chaos.
Pull back the curtain to meet the marketing wizards making it happen at Accelity! Our team might not practice magic, but the content we create is pretty magical. Learn more about our talented team members, like our Strategic Copy Manager, Michelle Breen!
What drew you to Accelity?
I wanted to work for a company that had a strong culture around teamwork, and that is a huge selling point for Accelity. Ironically, my first day at Accelity was also the first day that Accelity transitioned to work-from-home because of the COVID-19 outbreak. While I couldn’t connect with my team in person, I immediately felt like I was part of the team. I knew that I had found the right place and the right people.
What 3 words describe Accelity to you?
Authentic. Hustle. Fun!
Where would you like to see Accelity in 4 years?
I want to see Accelity grow not only as a B2B SaaS marketing agency but also as an important voice in the Milwaukee business community. I moved to Milwaukee in 2017 and love seeing how tight-knit the local business community feels. I can’t wait to find more ways to support our friends locally and to help them grow.
If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be?
“So It Will Be, Grumble Who Grumble”
Anne Boleyn wanted it to be her official motto as Queen of England, but Henry VIII felt it was a bit much. I love the story and the attitude so much and I use the quote everywhere.
What is an attainable life goal you have for yourself in 10 years?
I would like to be in a leadership position (okay, maybe disregard my book title). For the past few years I’ve been happy to work independently and in the background, but I’ve become more open to developing leadership skills. I would like to grow professionally to learn how to have an impact, whether that’s at a company or within a community organization.
If you were mayor for a day, what would you do?
I would close down a section of the city to traffic so that no cars are allowed. I haven’t had a car in four years and I love it. I live on the Lower East Side, and we have excellent public transit and wonderful views for a walk. When I lived in Boston they closed one of the busiest thoroughfares, Newbury Street, to cars for the weekend and it was so nice to shop, dine and walk the street without interference.
A zombie outbreak just happened in Milwaukee. What is your plan to survive?
My parents and brother are in California, and we’ve decided on Denver as a meeting point should such an occasion arise. So, I’d start walking west until I found them.
At Accelity we’re confident our team is made up of the coolest group of marketers you’ll ever meet—like our featured employee, Sierra Davis!
Sierra is an Account Manager, driving the day-to-day activity of client campaigns and projects. She helps project manage client campaigns from start to finish to make sure everything is running smoothly.
What is your hometown known for?
I grew up in Muskego, Wisconsin, which used to be the home of the world’s fastest roller coaster at Muskego Beach Amusement Park.
What 3 words describe Accelity to you?
Ambitious, intelligent, considerate.
What excited you most about working at Accelity?
What really stood out to me was the leadership and team dynamic—it’s super clear that everyone here supports each other and works with purpose. I’m big on the idea that who you surround yourself with shapes who you are, so being part of a team like this is seriously motivating.
Who would you switch places with for one day?
Alex Cooper. She’s a podcaster who interviews celebrities and influencers, and I’m hooked. I love hearing people’s backstories—what shaped them, how they think. I’m also obsessed with memoirs and autobiographies, so her show hits that same vibe. What’s cool is she’s not just interviewing from the sidelines—she’s part of that world. She’s a creator, she gets the culture and she knows how to actually connect with people.
If you weren’t in marketing, what would your second career choice be?
If I wasn’t in marketing, I’d honestly want to be a communications professor. I’m super into the research side of it—deep dives, asking questions figuring out how people connect. In college, those conversations about communications theory and human behavior were actually exciting to me (nerdy, I know). Being the one leading those discussions and helping people see things differently? That would’ve been a dream second path.
If you could have one special power, what would it be?
If I could have any superpower, it’d be teleportation, no question.
What is your guilty pleasure show?
I love to watch Law & Order: SVU. There are 24 seasons and I have watched every episode, several times. If my TV is on, there is a huge chance Law & Order: SVU is on!
