What drew you to Accelity?
The culture and strong leadership team. I had been following [Accelity CEO & Founder] Jackie on social media and was excited to see she was hiring.
Who inspires you?
Muhammad Ali. He was one of one—brave, courageous and unapologetically himself. He didn’t let society dictate who he should be.
What’s your secret talent?
Pickleball. I just started playing this year and am looking forward to joining some tournaments next year.
What is an attainable life goal you have for yourself in 10 years?
I would love to backpack through Europe. My sister just got back from doing it. I’d especially like to visit paris to see the history, the art and the culture. I’d like to explore the whole Earth, but a trip to Europe would be great.
Where is your favorite spot in Milwaukee?
I love the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Lake Park area. Anywhere along the lake is beautiful and the weather is always nice. It’s the best sights to see and the best places to visit in the city.
What is your favorite festival in Milwaukee?
The Wisconsin State Fair is the best because of the food. My favorite is the pork chop on a stick (which is probably the only time a year I eat pork).
If a friend/colleague were to bump into you in public, where would you most likely be?
Nordstrom is my happy place. The way some people feel about Target is the way I feel about Nordstrom. They have food and coffee and the staff is nice and inviting. The mall is always crowded, but it’s quiet in Nordstrom.
